YBhg. Dato’ Farisah Binti Mohd Farid

YBhg. Dato’ Farisah Binti Mohd Farid, aged 59, Malaysian, was appointed as a director of the Issuer on 19 April 2017. With over two decades of diversified managerial experience, including accounting, finance, information technology, consulting, business development, mergers and acquisitions and the energy sector. She started her career as an accountant in Lembaga Letrik Negara then TNB; she held several managerial positions with TNB until she left in 1998 for several multinational corporations; Shell Limited Malaysia, SAP (Malaysia) and Accenture Malaysia. She founded an IT consultancy firm during the information and communication technology era in the millennium, focusing on the power and utilities industry.

Her passion for renewable energy and in-depth knowledge of the power and utilities industry led her to invest her efforts towards a sustainable and greener cause. Realising that women were underrepresented in the clean energy sector and to assist with Malaysia’s efforts towards a climate-resilient economy, she founded RPSB and consequently RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd. focuses on the development of Renewable Energy, especially in the development of small hydropower.

She is currently the Managing Director of RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd. and also the Director and  Chief Executive Officer of Rising Promenade Sdn. Bhd.

YBhg. Dato’ Farisah Binti Mohd Farid holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Australian National University and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University.

YBhg. Dato’ Zainuddin Bin Yahya

YBhg. Dato’ Zainuddin Bin Yahya, aged 64, Malaysian,  started his career in 1983 as Diplomatic Administrative Officer and served as Assistant Director at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia. He then served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia as Assistant Secretary (Economics) in 1988. In 1991, he was appointed as the First Secretary / Counsellor, of the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations, New York. His other appointments were Deputy Permanent Representative, Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations, New York (2001), Undersecretary (West Asia), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2004), Ambassador of Malaysia to Syria (2005), Director General, ASEAN Malaysia National Secretariat Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (2009) and Ambassador of Malaysia to Belgium, Luxembourg and Head of Mission to the European Union (2011).

YBhg. Dato’ Zainuddin Bin Yahya, was appointed as a director of RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd. on 15 November 2021.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons.) degree from the University of Malaya.

YBhg. Lt. General Dato’ Sri Wan Normazlan Bin Che Jaafar

YBhg. Lt. General Dato’ Sri Wan Normazlan Bin Che Jaafar RMAF (Retired), aged 65, Malaysian, He is currently a partner of a legal firm named Messrs Jagjit Ariff & Co. He started his career as an army engineer and later as a qualified helicopter pilot. Throughout his forty-two (42) years of service in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (“RMAF”), he has served various appointments, among others, the Director of RMAF Legal Departments, the Base Commander Air Base Subang, Assistant Chief of Staff Operation and Strategic RMAF, Assistant Chief of Staff Human Resources RMAF and the Commander of Air Support RMAF. Lt General Dato’ Sri Wan Normazlan also currently serves on the board of directors of Perbadanan Perwira Harta Malaysia, a wholly-owned corporation of Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera. He also currently sits as a director in Pernec Advance Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pernec Corporation Bhd.

YBhg. Lt. General Dato’ Sri Wan Normazlan was appointed as a director of RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd. on 15 November 2021.

He holds a Bachelor of Law degree (Hons.) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (“IIUM”), a Master Degree of Comparative Laws from IIUM, a Master in International Air and Space Law from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands and a Master in Defence Studies from the National University of Malaysia.

YBrs. Tuan Haji Norzihan Bin Mohamad

Norzihan Bin Mohamad, aged 57, Malaysian, has more than twenty-five (25) years of experience in the areas of power and utilities. He is responsible for giving technical advice on the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment for energy and utility businesses as well as giving advice on contract administration. He started his career as a Consumer Engineer with the National Electricity Board in Kluang, Johor, Sultan Ismail Power Station in Paka, Terengganu as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer and Project Execution of the local and overseas independent power producers. He was occupied with several renewable energy projects such as the implementation of a biomass power plant project and the development of several mini or small hydro projects. He has also provided consultancy services to a combined-cycle power station and Coal Fired Independent Power Producer (IPP) project.

Norzihan Bin Mohamad was appointed as a director of RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd. on 15 November 2021.

He holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from, the University of Western Australia and a Master of Business Administration from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
